Ep31 – Misfortunes of T-Funk – Barnaby Hazen

In this episode, I speak with author, Barnaby Hazen, who’ll be reading from his music-embedded story entitled, Misfortunes of T-Funk.

Childhood friends turned songwriting partners, Theo and Judah, embark on a plan to record their own music by enrolling in a school with a professionally equipped studio. They form a band through the music department, and perhaps too quickly head out on a mini-tour of the Northwest with many bumps along the way.

This is a funny and real look at how passion for one’s music, and resolve for a music career can be challenged by hard facts of the entertainment industry, and life in general.

T-Funk was declared 2017 Winner in the Arts & Entertainment category by the Independent Press Award.
